Job Description

Responsibilities :

Monitor personnel working inside manholes, tanks, or confined spaces to ensure safety at all times.

Conduct pre-entry inspections to assess atmospheric conditions, ventilation, and potential hazards.

Ensure proper use of PPE, harnesses, gas detectors, and lifelines before and during entry.

Maintain constant communication with personnel inside confined spaces using radios, hand signals, or other approved methods.

Ensure permit-to-work (PTW) and confined space entry procedures are strictly followed.

Monitor air quality using gas detectors for oxygen levels, flammable gases, and toxic vapors.

Respond immediately to any emergency situation , initiating rescue procedures if required.

Keep daily logs and records of confined space activities, observations, and incidents.

Assist in safety drills, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions related to confined space work.
