Tank Cleaner

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Clean and remove sludge, scale, chemicals, or other residues from storage tanks, vessels, and process containers.

Use high-pressure water jetting, chemical cleaning, or manual cleaning methods as required.

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety procedures, PTW (Permit-to-Work), and confined space entry regulations .

Inspect tanks and report any corrosion, leaks, or structural damage to the supervisor.

Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and residues in line with environmental regulations.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safe operation of cleaning equipment.

Monitor air quality, ventilation, and gas levels in confined spaces before and during cleaning operations.
