Automotive Technical Manager

Our Client is Qatar’s authorized dealer for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge Sales and Service, Peugeot, Ford, and Lincoln Sales and Service. They have the following requirement for an Automotive Technical Manager. Role

Analyze various product problems and prepare technical feedback reports to the Principal. Manage vehicle diagnosis and maintain work procedures for workshop technicians / electricians, ensuring timely completion of jobs as per quality standards laid down in the workshop manuals. Manage and control day-to-day production activities to ensure that vehicle repair and delivery are met within agreed timescales. Assist in maintaining work procedures for workshop technicians / mechanics. Ensure timely completion of jobs as per the quality standards laid down in the workshop manual and ensure the manufacturer Service Process is properly followed in every case. Assist technicians while performing complex diagnosis procedures. Facilitate, supervise, and coordinate the delivery of all physical resources required for the smooth operation of the workshop and allocate technicians accordingly. Coordinate with the Service / Workshop Manager for workshop activities to ensure maximum utilization of resources and manpower in the repair and service of vehicles. Respond to customer queries and concerns, escalating when necessary, and ensure that corrective action is taken on a priority basis. Specs

Engineering Graduate. Training & Certificates – dealer standards. Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the Automobile field, with at least 5 years’ experience in a managerial capacity.
