Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians and support staff in the workshop. Allocate repair and maintenance tasks based on skills, experience, and workload. Monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of jobs with high-quality standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired according to manufacturer and company guidelines. Provide technical support, guidance, and problem-solving assistance to technicians. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in the workshop. Track team performance, productivity, and efficiency through KPIs and reporting. Support the Service Manager in planning and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Train, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance skills and maintain high morale. Assist in handling escalated customer complaints and provide technical explanations where required. Ensure availability and proper use of tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems. Collaborate with parts and front-office staff to ensure smooth workshop operations. Skills Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in an automotive service workshop, with at least 2 years in a supervisory / leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes. Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused approach with problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in service management systems and MS Office applications.
