Responsible for the day-to-day aspect of banquet operations to ensure events are executed at a luxury level (maintenance before, during and after the events) Providing engaging and luxury service to our guests and colleagues Supervise the event team and ensure service standards are followed Liaising with clients to ensure all function details are correct and adhered to Conduct pre-shift briefings with colleagues for each event Process daily banquet bills Accountable to complete daily opening and closing duties Responsible to ensure all our guests leave with a positive event experience To ensure that all equipment, fixtures, and furniture of the department are kept in the best repair possible and are used in a safe and proper manner Maintain awareness of, and ensuring compliance with all food safety & hygiene policies and procedures are followed at all times To follow all department and hotel policies, procedures and service standards Qualifications

Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a related role Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Previous experience in a unionized environment is an asset Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, self-motivated, and self-directed Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times What is in it for you
