• Fighter Aircraft Fuels Systems Maintenance Technician
• to assist in our maintenance efforts in
• Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar
• Position Responsibilities :
• Removal / Installation of Fuel Systems components to facilitate the repair of system failures or implement process of elimination.
• Performs routine troubleshooting using pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Performs Operational Checkout to validate / verify testing of Fuel Systems and components. Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components.
• Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
• Performs routine troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Performs validation / verification testing of systems and components. Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components.
• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
• Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
• Able to assign and perform CUT (Cross Utilization Training) as required.
• Works under general supervision.
• This position requires the ability to obtain the US Security Clearance from the US Government.
• Basic Qualifications :
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Aircraft Fuel Systems.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15)
• Military or vocational school related to discipline or equivalent.
