Position Responsibilities

Removal / Installation of Fuel Systems components to facilitate the repair of system failures or implement process of elimination.

Performs routine troubleshooting using pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

Performs Operational Checkout to validate / verify testing of Fuel Systems and components. Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components.

Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.

Performs routine troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

Performs validation / verification testing of systems and components. Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components.

Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.

Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).

Able to assign and perform CUT (Cross Utilization Training) as required.

Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in Aircraft Fuel Systems.

Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15)

Military or vocational school related to discipline or equivalent.

Important Information This vacancy is for an international, locally hired position in Al Udeid, Qatar. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable local law.
