Overview Human Resources Coordinator
Maintain filing systems, prepare office correspondence, distribute and route mail, and manage HR office supplies and forms. Respond to questions from employees and management regarding company and HR programs, policies, and guidelines. Ensure confidentiality of employee records and assist with application procedures for candidates.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain filing systems and new employee personnel files.
Type office correspondence using a computer; answer phone calls and record messages.
Distribute and route mail; order and track HR office supplies and forms.
Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures; maintain space designated for completing applications to be clean, accessible, and usable for individuals with disabilities.
Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
Inform HR management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property; maintain confidentiality and security of employee records and information.
Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9s).
Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain a professional appearance and protect company assets.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager; welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Speak with others in a clear and professional manner; prepare and review written documents; use appropriate telephone etiquette.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; enter and locate work-related information using computers and / or point of sale systems.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications
Education :
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience :
At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience :
No supervisory experience.
License or Certification :
None
