The Business Development Manager will drive the growth and expansion of two business divisions :
Cricket Academy – expanding partnerships with schools, sponsors, and corporate clients.
Trading & Contracting Divison – identifying and securing maintenance, fit‑out, and small construction contracts, as well as exploring new trading and investment opportunities.
This role is both strategic and hands‑on — ideal for a self‑driven professional who can open new markets, build partnerships, and deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities A. For the Cricket Academy
Build partnerships with schools, universities, and sports clubs to offer cricket training programs.
Identify and secure sponsorships for tournaments and academy events.
Organize cricket tournaments, holiday camps, and promotional events.
Develop relationships with corporate clients for team‑building cricket programs.
Assist in brand building through marketing campaigns and social media collaborations.
Identify and negotiate access to new playgrounds or grounds for academy expansion.
B. For the Trading & Contracting division
Identify, approach, and win small to medium-sized maintenance, fit‑out, and renovation projects.
Build relationships with facility management companies, real estate firms, and small developers.
Source and submit quotations / tenders for small contracting works.
Explore trading opportunities in sports equipment, protective gear, uniforms, and related items.
Research and recommend new business investment ideas (e.g., retail, service, or sports-related ventures).
C. General / Strategic
Develop and maintain a client and opportunity pipeline (CRM or Excel).
Prepare proposals, presentations, and company profiles for client meetings.
Attend business meetings, exhibitions, and networking events to promote company services.
Prepare periodic reports to management on business development progress.
Achieve revenue, partnership, and project acquisition targets as agreed.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
3–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations in Qatar.
Experience in sports, education, contracting, or facilities management is a strong advantage.
Proven record of achieving sales or partnership targets.
Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
