Qualification and Experience required
- Degree in Economics or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years' experience in similar activities for the company.
- Advanced knowledge & experience in use of relevant computer systems (SAP. Excel. Word. Power Point and Power BI)
- Fluency in English
- EPC Contracts mechanisms
Activities

To prepare for review dedicated LOP and LRBP data for the projectTo prepare for review the detailed annual budget and updates in liaison with various internal entities and in agreement with the NOC budget standard format provided by financeTo participate in the presentation and to defend the budget performance as requiredTo control budget availability for each commitmentTo ensure budget control. highlighting current trends and to justify variances between Forecast and BudgetTo establish register, to update, monitor and control the commitments., expenditure incurred and forecast for all contracts and purchase orders managed by Major ProjectsTo perform specific Cost AnalysisTo provide input to the PALM (SAP) system, about commitments, payment schedules. invoicing, time sheets and cost control issues, as requiredLiaise with the NOC Finance entity to ensure that G&A and other common costs arc charged fairly to the Major Project budgetsClosure
To prepare the monthly closure and make sure accruals done by the package cost controllers in PALM system are in accordance with current package and overall project(s) progressTo prepare all necessary documents as necessary for compliance regarding accrualsCost reporting
To issue a detailed internal and external monthly cost report (Trends. Areas of Concern. Budget Variance analysis. Commitment Expenditure figures. Forecast at completion etc.) with comments and advise Project Management on cost overruns in a timely mannerTo ensure correct and auditable records of all matters with Project expenditures, contracts, budgets, cash flows, forecasts, etc.To act as the interface with the NOC Finance entity and provide them with data for incorporation in corporate financial documentsTo supervise the EPC contractors cost control reporting requirementsInvoicing
To implement an efficient invoicing process between the different locations of the projectTo monitor invoices processing, in liaison with NOC accounting department to enable timely payment of invoicesOrganization
To coordinate and standardize EPC cost controllers’ activities across the multiple packages and locations of the projectTo develop, communicate and implement procedures to ensure the efficient organization and operation of the Project budget and cost control activitiesTo advise, during project setup post award. contractors on key commercial requirements (invoicing format and submission. cost reporting etc.)To anticipate additional requirement for cost control support during execution of the project(s)General
To promote cost consciousness within the entityTo ensure confidentially is being kept as per sensitive dataTo liaise with internal and external auditors for cost justificationTo prepare the required cost recovery related documentationTo liaise actively with NOC Finance entity for all matters related to cost and accounting as required (Commitments, invoice processing and payment, accruals, payment claims and disputes...)To prepare commercial close out of each contract and archive all financial documentation as per NOC guidelinesTo carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by hierarchical superiorsIf you are interested, kindly apply!
