Responsibilities
Organize all resources within the kitchen and other areas under responsibility.
Ensure timely preparation of food as per set menu and within the set cost.
Maintain quality, quantity, and hygiene standards, with emphasis on presentation and minimizing wastage.
Plan and cost menus with the Camp Boss, adhering to FIFO principles, ensuring variety and client satisfaction within cost norms.
Assist the Camp Boss in procuring provisions.
Allocate work to kitchen staff.
Prepare and cook dishes as required.
Oversee pre-preparation activities and ensure cleanliness of the kitchen area.
Observe safety rules and supervise to ensure compliance with company HSE policies and discipline.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as an Arabic Chef in hotels or catering services.
Knowledge of Arabic and Gulf region foods, sweets, and butchery.
Basic bakery skills are an advantage.
Basic written and spoken English and Arabic skills.
