COMMUNICATION OFFICER

Overview

Primary Purpose Of The Job : Ensure that Industries Qatar (ooIQ"), Gulf International Services ("GIS"), Qatar Aluminium Manufacturing Company ("QAMCO") and Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company ("MPHC") are able to fully discharge their external communications disclosure obligations to shareholders, investors and government regulatory authorities, and maintain an adequate public presence in printed and digital media, discharge their legal obligations with regards events and publications and fulfil the corporate social responsibility mandates given by their respective Boards of Directors. Handle all media related activities for IQ, GIS, QAMCO and MPHC and ensure that the websites are updated in a timely manner.

Required Experience And Skills

At least 5-year experience in public relations / affairs, management reporting, business journalism, etc.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Public Relations, Business, Finance, preferably with an internationally recognised professional qualification.
• Strong Microsoft Excel user.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication (both written and oral) skills.
• Fluent in English, Arabic an advantage.
