Job Description : Note :

Location is in Doha, Qatar

They will go through 3 days of orientation in Panama City, FL, then will deploy to Qatar - all travel and expenses are covered.

MUST have an active secret clearance

They will live in the barracks on the base (basically living in a dorm room), meals are provided

Work visas can take 2-3 months to get - once they get one, they can rent an apartment, buy / lease a car, and bring family over.

Doha is a good-sized city and a short Uber ride away to get a good dinner, see a movie, etc.

I did confirm that you can legally let them know that and then ask if they can meet that requirement.

Salary is paid monthly and is based on a 48 workweek.

The anticipated weekly hours are 72 hours - and OT is paid for all hours in excess of 48.

There is a completion bonus of ~$9,500 for completing the 1-year commitment.

Vacation allowance of $3,000, paid in 2 installments

192 hours of vacation / PTO per year.

Responsible for providing daily execution of sanitary sewer systems functions and training to military members in accordance with the performance work statement.

Services include operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of selected facility sanitary sewer systems (SSS) in support of base operations.

Responsibilities :

Perform effective and efficient OM&R to include regular inspection, operational testing and balancing, troubleshooting and repair of sewer systems to include documentation in SMS.

Systems include submersible pumps, diesel-de-watering pumps, valves, floats, rails, alarm boxes, macerators / grinders, pump houses, and PLCs.

Plan, conduct, and document training by preparing and using Lesson Plans and Performance Objectives. Give trainees theory, background information, and hands‑on education to enhance training performance.

Accomplish scheduled maintenance shall include, at a minimum, coil cleaning, regular adjustments, and operational inspections IAW manufacturer’s specifications and applicable codes and regulations outlined in this PWS.

Interpret engineering drawings which combine electrical and electronic schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings to trace signal flow throughout the system while troubleshooting malfunctions of complex systems using applicable test equipment, safety rules and practices, environmental policies and principles of management and operation.

Shall interpret installation and repair instructions which frequently only describe general applications for various components rather than their interface with other components of the specific system.

Provide on‑site expertise during emergency or complex service calls and complete preventative maintenance work.

Responsible for following and implementing work prioritization requirements within provided timelines using automated management systems for all work orders.

Responsible for following a comprehensive safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.

Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.

Responsible for following a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.

Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).

Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.

Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.

Qualifications :

Education / Certifications :

One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and Driver’s License (able to drive manual transmission).

Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.

Must obtain an Air Force flight line driver’s license upon deployment.

Must pass a flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge upon deployment.

Must pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing and background checks.

Candidates must successfully complete both online and hands-on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) defense training.

Training includes the successful fit testing of DOD provided protective gear.

Experience :

Must have a minimum of three years' experience specializing in sanitary sewer systems and must be able to clearly communicate and effectively during the course of instruction.

CHILLER MECHANIC Provide OM&R for HVAC / R systems and ICs base wide. OM&R shall include regular inspection, operational testing, and balancing, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC / R systems such as and not limited to : Chillers, air handlers, compressors, chilled water pumps, valve actuators, electronic dampers, water and air temperature sensors, water flow switches, air differential pressure switches, fan coil units, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, and direct digital controls (DDC).

Responsibilities

Shall perform P.M. scheduled maintenance IAW manufacturer’s specifications and applicable codes and regulations.

Shall operate a chemical water treatment program for all closed-loop HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, such as in a chilled water system.

Shall operate a comprehensive Refrigerant Recovery Program to ensure the proper handling, containment, and management of refrigerants in compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and best practices.

Shall maintain and adhere to applicable technical orders and good commercial practices for all maintenance actions to include requesting parts, receiving parts, installing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing Chiller equipment.

Shall provide written reports after the completions of all inspections, maintenance, repairs, tests, and certifications of each system or component.

Responsible for following a comprehensive quality and safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.

Responsible for following a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications :

One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

High School Diploma required.

Shall provide documentation (certificate, diploma, etc.) proving personnel attendance of in-residence training for HVAC / R systems.

Shall provide an EPA 608 Universal Certification (Core, small appliances (Type I), high-pressure appliances (Type II), and low-pressure appliances (Type III)) is required.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in industrial chilled water systems and must be able to communicate clearly and effectively during course of instruction.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in Computer Room Air Conditioning Systems (CRAC) and must be able to communicate clearly and effectively during course of instruction.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport.

Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.

Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and able to drive with a manual transmission.

Must be able to communicate in English.

Must be able to pass a flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge.

Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.

VRF splits Units 17-30 tons.

Liebert Crac units chilled water / refrigerant types.

Refrigeration Copeland units.

VFD’s.

Chill water supply pumps.
