Tree Management Engineer

Overview

Supervise and inspect trees and associated activities to ensure adequate maintenance, health and growing characteristics are completed for trees onsite and as per client standards. Inspect, continually, the assigned landscapes to ensure health and presentation in alignment with Aspire Zone standards and guidelines. Responsibilities

Inspect landscape maintenance performed by contractor manpower to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and report any deficiencies for immediate action. Inspect work in progress and completed projects to ensure adherence to plans, standards and specifications for landscaping, thus recommending project acceptance. Report any foreseen landscape components requiring rectification or change outside the scope of current contract or scope of work to ensure landscaping needs are met. Monitor and record amounts of material used to contribute to cost control and spending. Prepare inspection reports to track inspection activities and keep superiors abreast of progress and deficiencies, if any. Systems & Processes

Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures to ensure work is completed in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a world class service. Ensure cost-efficient usage of all applicable resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense. Share ideas and viewpoints to streamline processes and drive efficiency and improvements across the organization. Experience

6 years of related experience, of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar industry. Education and Certification

Bachelor’s degree with (Specialised Certificate preferred) in Landscape Architecture and / or Sports Turf Management. Specialized courses in engineering, horticulture, landscape architecture or a similar field. Job specific Technical Skills

Good knowledge of MS Office. Language

Required – English (Proficient). Optional – Arabic (Plus). Seniority level
