Field Engineer (Civil)

Field Engineer (Bridge / Structures) will be responsible for monitoring bridge and structural activities at the project site. This includes witnessing quality assurance procedures conducted by the Supervision Consultant (SC) and Main Contractor, ensuring compliance with the Project Management Plan (PMP), and monitoring project progress according to the approved work programme, QCS, and Lusail specifications. The role aims to enable QPM to deliver a quality project within the planned scope and budget.

Assist the Senior Structural Engineer and Construction Manager in addressing issues related to bridge and structural engineering works.

Ensure construction activities adhere to the PMP, Lusail Specifications, and project instructions.

Review and provide comments on technical submittals such as Method Statements, Material Approvals, and As-Built Drawings.

Liaise with the Supervision Consultant and Main Contractor to manage the project and propose solutions to technical issues.

Supervise onsite bridge and structural engineering activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications and project requirements.

Collaborate with the Supervision Consultant and Main Contractor to discuss and resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 8 years' proven experience in project management of bridge structures.
