HSSE Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead and manage HSSE programs to ensure safe execution of offshore projects and operations.

Develop, implement, and monitor HSSE plans, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures.

Ensure compliance with offshore regulatory requirements (e.g., IMO, MARPOL, SOLAS, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and client HSSE standards.

Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations; recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Provide HSSE leadership, guidance, and coaching to offshore teams, contractors, and subcontractors.

Coordinate and lead HSE meetings, safety drills, and toolbox talks .

Ensure proper management of permit-to-work (PTW), confined space entry, and hot work controls .

Promote a proactive safety culture by leading behavior-based safety (BBS) initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 15 years of proven offshore / onshore construction

SHES related NVQ Level 5 or Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Degree
