Freelance HSE Trainer (Shutdown Experience)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Freelance HSE Trainer

with a proven track record in conducting Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) training during industrial shutdowns / turnarounds. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, practical, and compliant training sessions to ensure personnel are fully prepared for shutdown operations in high-risk environments. This role is on an ad-hoc basis and will support shutdown campaigns scheduled in

March–April 2026

and

October–November 2026 . Key Responsibilities

Deliver shutdown-focused HSE training programs (induction, toolbox talks, refresher sessions, and job-specific safety modules). Ensure compliance with international standards (NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA) and local regulatory requirements. Conduct training needs assessments to align programs with project-specific risks. Facilitate practical demonstrations, simulations, and competency assessments. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and training outcomes. Support shutdown HSE orientation for multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary teams. Provide technical expertise in high-risk work areas (confined space entry, hot work, working at heights, lifting operations, permit-to-work systems, etc.). Requirements

Minimum 7–10 years of HSE experience, with at least

3 years in shutdown / turnaround projects . Recognized HSE qualification (NEBOSH IGC / NEBOSH PSM / OSHA / Equivalent). Certified trainer / assessor qualification (Highfield, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred. Strong knowledge of shutdown-specific risks, controls, and emergency response. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse workforces. Language Proficiency :

Hindi, English, and Urdu (spoken and written preferred). Availability for both shutdown periods (March–April and October–November 2026). What We Offer
