Specialist, General Procurement (Procurement Operations) - Doha, Qatar About the Role QNBN is looking for a Specialist, General Procurement to join our Procurement & Logistics team. This role is key to ensuring the company acquires non-technical goods and services in a cost-effective, timely, and compliant manner. From sourcing and tendering to vendor management and contract compliance, you will play a vital role in supporting internal stakeholders and driving procurement excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement requests for goods and services in line with company policies, procedures, and budgets. Draft and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tender documentation, ensuring transparency and competitiveness. Evaluate vendor proposals on both commercial and compliance criteria and support negotiations to secure best-value outcomes. Support vendor prequalification, onboarding, and regular evaluations to build a strong supplier base. Participate in contract drafting, renewals, and variations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Monitor supplier performance, highlight risks, and resolve disputes when required. Liaise with internal departments to capture requirements and provide guidance on procurement policies. Contribute to cross-functional projects requiring general goods or service acquisitions. Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on activity, cost savings, vendor performance, and compliance. Assist in audit readiness and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 4–6 years of experience in general procurement (telecom / technology / infrastructure sector experience preferred). Familiarity with sourcing for administrative services, facilities, office supplies, and corporate services is an advantage. Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms. Strong understanding of procurement policies, processes, and contract compliance. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. High ethical standards and confidentiality in handling procurement matters. Why Join Us?
