Qatar Fabrication CompanyAl Rayyan, QatarJob Summary and PurposeThe Employee RelationsOfficer has responsibility and accountability for all EmployeeRelations activity within QFAB. Which involves providing EmployeeRelations workforce intelligence, troubleshooting risk, operatingas a change actor to assist with realigning responsibilities in theCompany and promoting best practice.Provide support to the HumanResources Manager in the operational and administrative tasks toresolve all matters related to Employee Relations in QFAB, byassisting in developing and implementing effective policies andprocedures related to Employee Relations. As well as overseeingpersonnel administration tasks by providing guidance in thepreparation and processing of personnel actions throughout theentire employment period, from hiring to the conclusion of service.Additionally, actively participate in and coordinate with the ITdepartment to develop and effectively utilize HR-relatedsystems.Key Accountabilities : Generic Accountabilities : Leads andguides the Employee Relations Team in their day-to-dayoperations.Collaborate with HR Manager and propose and suggestemployee relations strategies aligned with organizationalobjectives.Provide guidance on policy interpretation to Managementand employees, whenever required.Manage and resolve employeerelations issues, and disciplinary cases.Conduct thoroughinvestigations into employee complaints, ensuring fair andimpartial resolutions.Act as a key liaison between employees andmanagement to facilitate transparent communication.Leadnegotiations and settlements when necessary, emphasizing positiveemployee relations.Assist and support HR Manager in addressinglegal issues related to employee relations.Stay abreast of changesin employment laws and regulations, ensuring organizationalpractices remain compliant.Manage all employment contracts, bymonitoring company payroll, reviewing and validating eligibleallowance and benefits, while ensuring compliance with theapplicable laws and requirements.Manage all administrativecirculars and decisions (e.g. early retirement program, promotion,employee transfer, penalties imposed on employees, employeeloans).Manage communication with employees with regards to theiraction letters (i.e. promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinaryactions…etc.).Oversee employees’ data andrecords and ensure their confidentiality.Manage HRMS’smaster data and ensure it’s up to date andaccurate.Review and validate new joiners’ salary andapplicable allowance and benefits.Review and validate payments toemployees, i.e., reimbursements to ensure their compliance withpertaining policies / contract.Provide escalation support withsuggestions to ensure all queries related to employees areaddressed in a prompt manner.Employee Relations Workforce Data : Toprovide comprehensive Employee Relations workforce data reportswhich show the performance of the employees in terms of sickness,turnover, staff costs, dismissals, suspensions, and grievances.Touse this data to help the HR Manager, Leads formulate leadershipand line management development programs.To use his / her EmployeeRelations expertise and findings from different data sources tofeed into the department’s annual action plan in terms ofaddressing and mitigating risk.Strengthening Engagement andLearningTo work with the Learning and Development Specialist tohelp coordinate a rigorous management by objectives culture throughannual Appraisal (PMS) and subsequent supervision practice.
- 5- 7 years of related experience of which a minimum of3-5 years should be in a similar position / responsibility
- Previous experience in Oil & Gasindustry and regional experience is preferred
- Bilingualis an advantage
