Overview Provide legal support to QatarEnergy on all forms of company and commercial work, including corporate transactional and structuring, commercial transactions, brand protection and management; as well as legal support to QatarEnergy’s corporate functions (Corporate / Commercial Activities) and support on all legal risks and legal issues relevant to Corporate / Commercial Activities to assist QatarEnergy to achieve its aims in a lawful, effective, ethical and accountable manner.

Responsibilities

Provide legal support on corporate transactional and structuring work, commercial transactions, and brand protection and management.

Support QatarEnergy’s corporate functions (Corporate / Commercial Activities) and advise on legal risks and issues related to Corporate / Commercial Activities.

Assist QatarEnergy to achieve its aims in a lawful, effective, ethical and accountable manner.

Required Experience And Skills

At least ten years legal experience (not necessarily post-qualification) in private practice or in-house, with substantial experience in Corporate / Commercial activities.

Ability to assimilate complex legal matters and provide practical advice to non-lawyers.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player with the Legal Department and other stakeholders.

Digital literacy with advanced skills in MS Word and PowerPoint.

Highly motivated, proactive, organized, and self-disciplined.

Educational Qualifications

JD / LLB (or equivalent) degree from a recognized university.
