Role Overview
The Digital Printing Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials. The role ensures accurate color output, timely production, and proper handling of print jobs according to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Load materials (paper, vinyl, fabric, etc.) and set machine parameters.
- Ensure color accuracy, print quality, and proper alignment.
Print Job Management
Review job orders, artwork files, and specifications before printing.Run test prints and adjust settings as needed.Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of print jobs.Inspect finished products for quality standards (color, clarity, finishing).Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of printers.Troubleshoot minor mechanical and technical issues.Report major issues to maintenance teams or supervisors.Material Handling & Finishing
Manage inventory of inks, toners, substrates, and consumables.Assist in finishing operations such as cutting, lamination, binding, folding, or mounting (based on business requirements).Documentation & Safety
Maintain production logs and job tracking sheets.Ensure proper file management and follow workflow procedures.Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace.Skills Required
