Piping Designer

Engineering company based in Qatar looking for Piping Designer 12 months secondment contract 5 days on / 2 days off / 8-10 hours per day Responsibilities

Develop detailed design / construction drawings such as Plot Plan, Piping GAD, Key plans, Isometrics, Demolition drawing etc. Develop procurement and construction MTOs from approved documents and drawings Qualifications

Bachelor / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University Minimum 6-10 years relevant experience in FEED / Detailed engineering of green field / brownfield engineering to oil and gas or similar facilities which must include offshore. Shall have minimum 2-3 years of experience in detailed design engineering of brownfield modifications to oil and gas offshore. Minimum 3 years of experience in E3D modelling software & 5 years of experience in Autocad software. Must possess basic working knowledge of industry practices, tools, codes and QatarEnergy / Shell DEP standards as applicable to the discipline. Some site-based construction and commissioning experience is an advantage.
