Responsibilities

Perform piping engineering services including intra-design reviews and development of Plot Plans, Piping General Arrangement drawings & sections, pipe support details, etc.

Prepare Isometrics and piping material take-offs.

Check all kinds of piping drawings.

Maintain strong knowledge of latest versions of AutoCAD / CADWorx, 3D modelling tools (e.g., E3D, SP3D) and clash detection / resolution.

Communicate effectively with other discipline designers / engineers / project team.

Ensure completion of assigned work on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Required Skills

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Piping or Petroleum Engineering from a reputed university.

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and / or Refineries as a Piping designer.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Familiar with international codes and standards such as API, ANSI and ASME.

Flexible attitude, team player, with good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to input and support other disciplines such as Process, Civil, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical and HSE.

Proven experience with design tools such as MicroStation / AutoCAD; Navisworks. Smartplant SP3D and AVEVA E3D experience is an added advantage.
