Commis 1 (Italian Restaurant)

Job Description

Assist in the preparation of Italian dishes including sauces under the guidance of senior chefs.

Ensure all mise en place is ready for service and maintain cleanliness and organization in your station.

Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.

Support the kitchen team during busy service periods with efficiency and professionalism.

Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

Participate in kitchen briefings and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen, preferably with exposure to Italian cuisine.

Culinary certificate or relevant training.

Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.

Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the culinary team.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards.
