Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our Italian restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will bring authentic Italian hospitality, a deep understanding of Italian cuisine and culture, and exceptional leadership skills to ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure service excellence and guest satisfaction

Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver authentic Italian hospitality

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service

Manage inventory, cost control, and budgeting to achieve financial targets

Collaborate with the culinary team to design seasonal menus and specials

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

Handle guest feedback professionally and promptly

Qualifications & Competencies

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role, ideally in an Italian restaurant

Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and service traditions

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Proficiency in English; Italian language fluency is highly preferred

Customer-focused with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
