Presales Engineer - Cyber Security Qatar

Responsibilities
- Generate and provide customer BoQ / BoM as requested by sales staff and business partners
- Support efficient response to RFP / RFI
- Differentiating the company value‑add propositions through presales engagement
- Provide presentations and demonstrations for end users on behalf of vendors / partners
- Establish strong, productive vendor, partner team alignment
- In coordination with sales staff, proactively work within resellers to position the product line and ensure comprehension of the portfolio
- Build visibility with vendors and customers to create a competitive distribution advantage for company products
- Maintain competitive awareness of vendor products and technical product activity
- Provide product knowledge updates regularly to partners (Tech Refresh)
- Assist with technology comparison and product SWOT analysis
- Conduct regular training and 1 : 1 enablement sessions for partners in the region
- Maintain certification level as the minimum requirement by the vendor
- Provide out‑of‑house training as necessary
- Make reseller and end‑user visits to stay current with product requirements
- Resolve questions, requests, and challenges promptly and courteously
- Obtain and convey information as needed
- Maintain the company’s professional reputation by providing superior customer service
- Make follow‑up calls to check on customer satisfaction with products and support
- Conduct weekly webinars of product enablement / Tech Refresh
- Provide in‑house division training as required
- Provide monthly reports / MBOs to the director
- Serve as a resource for product specifications
- Assist and support area personnel as needed
- Keep management informed of area activities and any significant problems
- Attend and participate in weekly forecast meetings as requested
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information TechnologyCyber Security product certificationFluent in English / Arabic is an advantageRequired Knowledge
Cyber Security domain experienceField presales experience 5+ yearsExperience building BoQ / BoM based on customer requirements5+ years of experience in telecom, technology, or IT distributionSkills and Abilities
