We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Commis Pastry Chef to join a prestigious fine dining culinary team in Qatar. You will work alongside world-class chefs to deliver exceptional desserts and pastry items that reflect the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of all pastry and dessert items.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Pastry Chef.
- Ensure ingredients and products are stored and rotated properly, maintaining hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section and uphold kitchen sanitation standards.
- Support senior pastry chefs with mise en place and daily tasks.
- Participate in the development of new pastry items and menu concepts.
- Comply with all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in culinary or pastry training from a recognized institution.Minimum 2 years of experience in a pastry role, preferably in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.Strong understanding of classic and modern pastry techniques.Attention to detail with an artistic approach to presentation.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.Team player with excellent communication skills.Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.A positive attitude and eagerness to learn from top-tier culinary professionals.Benefits
