Overview
This role is responsible for the safe and effective delivery of assigned medium / large projects or a portfolio of brownfield modifications for client onshore facilities and offshore platforms, including large production and processing complexes within an Engineering and Procurement services contracting model. Lead and direct the successful delivery of each project from early solution development through Detailed Design Engineering, Procurement, construction preparation, completions and commissioning (by others), and project close-out post-handover to Operations. Ensure delivery excellence in line with Wood processes and the Contract Execution Plan, providing certainty to the client and Wood project sponsor with focus on safety, cost efficiency, risk management, schedule adherence and stakeholder management. Ensure delivery within the agreed commercial framework and understand compliance with the EPs framework agreement reimbursable contract in all aspects of delivering the work.
Responsibilities
- Project HSSEQ leadership with a program of initiatives and auditing schedule to ensure proactive handling of HSSE and quality issues.
- Classify projects into appropriate tiers and apply right-sized delivery strategies.
- Create Interface Management Plans and use interface registers as applicable.
- Define scopes of work, prepare CTRs and cost estimates, develop delivery schedules with contingency allowances, gain client approval, review purchasing terms, and manage execution under contract.
- Assist Portfolio Delivery Manager with contract Profit & Loss, cost and schedule commitments, and compliance with the commercial framework.
- Provide input to annual budget and forecast, allocate costs, and support timely invoicing and cash collection.
- Organize project teams, define responsibilities, and drive progress through regular meetings.
- Set objectives aligned with contract terms and delegate work to team members.
- Provide leadership to manage stakeholder interfaces effectively.
- Coordinate project delivery schedules and master deliverables register with critical path, KPIs and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and client engineering standards for all deliverables.
- Identify and communicate scope changes early and manage change with client approval and contract amendments.
- Pursue opportunities for innovation and efficiency through digital tools and global resources where appropriate.
- Drive cost and schedule savings and provide weekly project reporting and accurate dashboards.
- Maintain document management, meeting minutes, action trackers, risk registers, and risk mitigation actions.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, including external specialists and staff from multiple sites.
- Support information management systems and confidentiality of data.
- Participate in project assurance activities, peer reviews, and lessons learned.
- Resolve conflicts in a large, multicultural environment and participate in design and risk workshops as applicable.
- Ensure technical bid evaluations and clarifications are completed to meet specifications.
Leadership
Lead by example in project delivery, ethics, and compliance with local laws and Wood policies.Coach and mentor team members, enabling effective decision-making within competencies.Qualifications

BSc or equivalent in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university.PM certification (PMP, APM) or equivalent preferred.Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in medium / large Brownfield oil & gas projects; at least 5 years in a similar role preferred.Knowledge, skills and experience :
Experience managing EPC / EP / EPCM contracts for offshore / onshore Brownfield projects.Experience in the GCC region preferred but not essential.Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project controls capabilities.Solid understanding of project management techniques, benefits realisation, risk management, and information management.Experience with interface management, cost control, and schedule management.Knowledge of contracting models and procurement of goods / services.Desirable Personal Attributes :
