Project Director

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear company delivering end-to-end services across the asset life cycle. We seek a Project Director to join our team with experience managing large-scale multi-disciplinary projects in Qatar and the GCC Region. The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience with at least 8 years in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Accountable for end-to-end leadership, management and delivery of all aspects of the project, including timeline, quality, risk management, financial performance and scope, in line with the AtkinsRéalis methodology.
• Accountable for successful close-out of commercial fee and contractual negotiations with the Client and their representative.
• Establish the project, including resourcing from Delivery Centres and Offices, project setup, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), program development, milestone establishment, scope changes and variations.
• Demonstrate care for wellbeing and actively participate in health, safety and wellbeing activities.
• Build and lead project delivery teams and collaborate with Discipline Leads to secure required resources.
• Ensure project delivery activity aligns with company standards and client expectations.
• Ensure effective closeout and debrief with Client, Client Relationship Executive (CRE), People Manager and Project Manager.

The role requires extensive experience within the Leisure & Entertainment sector, relating to one of the following :

Minimum qualifications or experience : 15 years total with 8+ years in the Middle East, and proven ability to manage large multi-disciplinary programs in the region.
