POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure staff works together as a team to provide excellent service and meet guest needs. Inspect staff grooming and attire, and address any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises. Oversee storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness. Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating, service quality, safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment / Open Door Policy. Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are professional, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns appropriately. Adhere to quality standards and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information in various formats. Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds. Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects. Navigate narrow or elevated spaces, stairs, and ramps. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience : At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience : At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
License or Certification : None required.
