Reporting to the Director of F&B, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following : Lead and support all Food & Beverage Department Outlets in achieving financial and operational targets. Lead, mentor, and manage the banquet team to deliver exceptional service and uphold luxury standards. Oversee planning and execution of all banquet events (weddings, corporate meetings, social events). Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to meet event needs with precision. Collaborate with sales and events teams to customize banquet offerings and packages. Manage the banquet department budget with effective cost control while maintaining guest experience. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain inventory control of banquet equipment and supplies; ensure proper storage and maintenance. Oversee preparation, setup, and breakdown of event spaces to client specifications. Ensure events are executed to a high standard; analyze feedback to refine processes and improve guest satisfaction. Analyze banquet event orders with Catering Conference Services daily. Oversee breakdown of function areas as scheduled in accordance with departmental procedures. Attend internal and external meetings (Pre-convention, BEO, F&B, staff meetings). Collaborate with Talent & Culture to engage, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and quality standards with a continuous improvement approach. Prepare annual budgets and administer fiscally; control food, beverage, labor, and operating expenses. Assist in preparing the annual strategic plan and achieve its goals. Ensure standards in guest service and continuously seek ways to improve product and service to increase volume and profits. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Banquet Manager or in a similar leadership role within a luxury hotel environment. Expertise in luxury event planning, food and beverage operations, and exceptional guest service standards. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a collaborative, high-performance environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple high-profile events simultaneously. Financial acumen with budgeting, cost control, and profitability optimization without compromising service quality. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with poise and professionalism. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
