Job Description
Handle all reservations through various channels, including phone, fax, internet, and email
Optimize room sales in line with the hotel's sales policy and brand standards
Provide a warm welcome and assist guests with their inquiries and requests
Manage the reservation process, following brand‑specific procedures
Enter reservation details accurately and efficiently into the system
Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Confirm reservations and handle written communications professionally
Stay up‑to‑date with hotel promotions, packages, and special offers
Assist in maximizing room occupancy and revenue
Resolve guest concerns and issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Reservation Agent or in a similar customer service role
Strong knowledge of reservation systems, preferably Opera or similar platforms
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
Outstanding problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
Guest‑focused personality with a commitment to providing exceptional service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality management is a plus
