Job Description
- Handle all reservations through various channels, including phone, fax, internet, and email
- Optimize room sales in line with the hotel's sales policy and brand standards
- Provide a warm welcome and assist guests with their inquiries and requests
- Manage the reservation process, following brand‑specific procedures
- Enter reservation details accurately and efficiently into the system
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Confirm reservations and handle written communications professionally
- Stay up‑to‑date with hotel promotions, packages, and special offers
- Assist in maximizing room occupancy and revenue
- Resolve guest concerns and issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Reservation Agent or in a similar customer service roleStrong knowledge of reservation systems, preferably Opera or similar platformsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsFluency in English; additional languages are a plusOutstanding problem‑solving abilities and attention to detailGuest‑focused personality with a commitment to providing exceptional serviceAbility to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environmentProficiency in basic computer skills and data entryKnowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practicesFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality management is a plusAdditional Information
