Senior Architectural Engineer Doha Qatar We are looking to hire a Senior Architectural Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar.

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant postgraduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.

Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical design and engineering services in Architectural Engineering for all assigned engineering projects, achieving the technical quality in accordance with client procedures while considering quality, schedule, cost, and HSE.

Conduct Architectural Engineering activities and in‑house site surveys from initial concept definition through to FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.

Ensure the required client technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work scopes.

Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices.

Support the Engineering Department to review, update, and apply client standards and external amendments.

Plan and coordinate activities of a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver technical services on time.

Coordinate engineering designs, develop and review multidisciplinary work scopes, and ensure the work scope is comprehensive and clear.

Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance and liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical issues.

Develop, update, and monitor schedules for in‑house engineering activities and contribute to external FEED / EPIC scheduling activities for effective project delivery.

Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance and review and evaluate the contract changes / variation to approved guidelines and practices.

Support the development of personal technical competency and skills and those of coworkers and participate in structured training for Associate Engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

Chartered / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.

10 years of relevant postgraduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.

Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and codes related to Architectural Engineering.

Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multi‑project environment.

Fluency in English with good verbal, writing communication skills and proficiency for conducting presentations.
