Senior Architectural Engineer Doha Qatar

We are looking to hire a Senior Architectural Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar.

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant postgraduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.

Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical design and engineering services in Architectural Engineering for all assigned engineering projects, achieving the technical quality in accordance with client procedures while considering quality, schedule, cost, and HSE.
• Conduct Architectural Engineering activities and in‑house site surveys from initial concept definition through to FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
• Ensure the required client technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work scopes.
• Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices.
• Support the Engineering Department to review, update, and apply client standards and external amendments.
• Plan and coordinate activities of a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver technical services on time.
• Coordinate engineering designs, develop and review multidisciplinary work scopes, and ensure the work scope is comprehensive and clear.
• Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance and liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical issues.
• Develop, update, and monitor schedules for in‑house engineering activities and contribute to external FEED / EPIC scheduling activities for effective project delivery.
• Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance and review and evaluate the contract changes / variation to approved guidelines and practices.
• Support the development of personal technical competency and skills and those of coworkers and participate in structured training for Associate Engineers.
