Overview

Engineering Supervisor (HOT0C0UP) at Waldorf Astoria - West Bay Doha. An Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and efficient environment for guests and team members. This includes conducting daily inspections, supervising repairs, and coordinating renovation and maintenance projects. Responsibilities

Oversee all engineering and maintenance activities within the hotel. Conduct daily inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functioning. Supervise and assist in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensure all hotel fixtures, fittings, and equipment are maintained in a safe and operational condition. Lead and support the engineering team to deliver high-quality service and timely maintenance. Coordinate and monitor renovation and upgrade projects, including defining scope, budgeting, and supervising contractors. Develop and implement emergency response procedures and safety protocols. Manage energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure team members are trained accordingly. Build strong working relationships with internal departments and external service providers. Handle special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications
