Position Summary
Prepare special meals and substitute items, regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, thaw food from freezer storage in the refrigerator, arrange portions and garnish, maintain food logs, monitor quality and quantity of prepared food, assist during busy periods, inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials, communicate menu specials and out‑of‑stock items to food & beverage service staff, and ensure overall food quality. Cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards and use the food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods.
