We are looking for an

Engineering Lead (ICSS)

for one of our clients with the following details :

Start Date :

ASAP

Contract Duration : 36 Months

Location : Qatar Onshore

Qualifications & Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

8 years' experience working in Instrument and Controls, in an Oil & Gas industry project, with broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction, and operations.

I&C design experience for offshore assets.

Strong understanding of Instrumentation, Controls, and Safety equipment, Metering, vendor package, and systems experience. Well-versed in relevant industry codes and standards.

Experience with smart JB technology is desirable.

Pre-commissioning / Commissioning experience is required.

Excellent written and oral English skills.

Strong organisational, planning, and coordination skills.

Strong technical, prioritisation, and management skills.

Strong communication, influencing, and interface skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes.

Activities

Ensure I&C engineering activities are conducted per project specifications and approved variations. Responsible for quality design of I&C deliverables, including safety aspects and execution planning.

Drive work execution, ensuring technical alignment and quality with stakeholders from both PMT and EPC Contractor. Provide guidance to EPC to complete I&C design timely and clearly.

Manage ICSS purchase orders with EPC Contractor and System Vendor, ensuring safe and seamless system integration.

Develop plans and schedules for project activities, providing data and change management recommendations.

Support multi-discipline activities with I&C expertise, and advise management on I&C issues.

Facilitate interface between vendors and EPC to meet quality and execution goals.

Provide I&C engineering support during project workshops and reviews.

Share lessons learned with project leadership timely.
