We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reservations Manager to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Qatar. As a key member of our hospitality management team you will oversee the reservations department ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing revenue through effective inventory management.
- Lead and manage the reservations team providing guidance training and support to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue
- Collaborate with sales marketing and revenue management teams to create and execute promotional packages and special offers
- Monitor and analyze reservation trends adjusting strategies as needed to meet business objectives
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all reservations including individual group and corporate bookings
- Handle complex reservation inquiries changes and cancellations with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory across various distribution channels including the hotels website OTAs and GDS
- Generate and analyze reports on reservations occupancy and revenue performance
- Resolve customer complaints and issues related to reservations promptly and professionally
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in reservations management
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the reservations department
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies procedures and regulations
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred35 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong working knowledge of Opera Property Manager System (PMS) and Central Reservations System (CRS)Proven leadership experience in a hotel environmentExcellent understanding of revenue management principles and practicesOutstanding communication interpersonal and problemsolving skillsStrong analytical and organizational abilities with keen attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and ExcelAbility to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environmentDemonstrated experience in managing and motivating teamsExcellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiencesStrong decisionmaking abilities and the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyProficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plusFlexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays as requiredAdditional Information
