Senior Accountant – Group of Companies

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to manage the accounting and financial reporting for a group of companies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, experience consolidating multi-entity financial statements, and the ability to provide strategic insights to support business decisions across multiple subsidiaries. Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple companies within the group. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Ensure consolidation of financial statements across all group entities, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments. Maintain and review general ledger accounts, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for each company and the group as a whole. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax filings, and internal controls. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required. Identify process improvements and implement accounting best practices across the group. Support senior management with financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification preferred. Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to multi-entity organizations or group accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and multi-company consolidation processes. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders. High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
