About the Role : We are looking for an experienced and strategic

Chief Accountant

to lead the accounting function for a group of companies. The Chief Accountant will oversee all financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage accounting teams, and provide insights to support the group’s financial strategy. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the accounting operations across all group entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group. Ensure intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and adjustments are accurately performed. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional development and high performance. Implement and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures across all companies. Manage statutory compliance, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial consultants. Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for strategic decision-making. Identify process improvements, streamline accounting operations, and enhance reporting efficiency. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and adherence to corporate governance standards. Skills Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in multi-entity or group accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and consolidated financial reporting. Proven experience in leading accounting teams and managing multi-company operations. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with management, auditors, and regulatory bodies. High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
