Overview
Accounts Specialist Responsibilities
Maintain the company’s accounts in accordance with approved principles and policies. Record and document accounting transactions in journals and ledgers, handle adjustment entries, and prepare financial and periodic reports in line with the financial and accounting system. Issue monthly reports on general expenses and document them in the relevant financial records. Generate and review detailed monthly trial balances. Monitor disbursements through bank statements. Prepare necessary checks based on approved payment vouchers for submission to the authorized signatory. Review payment orders and ensure compliance with financial policies. Sign accounting documents (disbursement, entry, etc.) and record them in the accounting software after completing the disbursement process according to financial policies. Archive financial documents according to the department’s financial system. Create checklists to facilitate financial audits. Perform financial reconciliations for all advances and petty cash, and follow up on debit and credit balances and various projects (e.g., Taif, Taqat). Monitor investment department accounts, record expenses and revenues, and follow up on legal matters and receivables. Record and document accounting transactions related to reconciliations and prepare financial and periodic reports in accordance with the financial and accounting system. Issue monthly reports on outstanding advances. Generate and review detailed monthly trial balances for all advances and investments. Monitor and follow up on all deposits and withdrawals from all banks and ensure proper financial and accounting documentation. Handle all financial and accounting tasks related to banks and internal / external bank transfers, manage and process bank deductions, and perform all types of adjustment entries in accordance with principles and policies. Review all tasks related to employee entitlements, petty cash advances, investment balances, fixed assets, and account balances, and perform bank reconciliations and document them financially and in the accounting records. Organize and verify the accuracy of bank account numbers used in all campaigns and publications related to the association. Review, monitor, and approve revenue deposits (cash, checks, Visa, messages, internet). Review salaries, employee entitlements, and allowances, and make the necessary accounting entries. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree. CMA or CPA certification is preferred. 7 years of practical experience. Familiarity with all policies, procedures, and systems related to the field of work. Strong organizational and daily planning skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges and problems. Proficiency in using computers and related applications. Fluency in Arabic and English. Skills
