Overview

This generic job opening aims to build a diverse pool of qualified candidates for future Project Coordinator roles at HEC Paris Doha. The Project Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing projects across various functions, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. The role involves coordinating project activities, facilitating communication among stakeholders, tracking progress, and supporting the successful delivery of project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time within scope and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Support project planning by gathering requirements, scheduling meetings, tracking tasks and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear documentation throughout all phases of each project including planning, execution, follow-up, and outcome reporting.
  • Identify potential risks or roadblocks early in the process and propose practical solution‑oriented responses.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and coordination of external contributors or contractors, ensuring smooth integration into project workflows.
  • Ensure project‑related policies, guidelines and processes are communicated and adhered to by all parties involved.
  • Prepare and manage reports, dashboards or other tools to support data‑driven decision‑making and track project performance.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to support the development and implementation of new initiatives as organizational needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years in project coordination or project management, preferably in client‑facing roles.
  • Advanced level in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent command of English; other languages (Arabic, French) are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously within tight deadlines while prioritizing stakeholder needs.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively, collaboratively and courteously with varied stakeholders including senior executives.
  • Experience in proactively managing third‑party contractors ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
  • Proven problem‑solving capacity with the ability to anticipate challenges proactively, identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to travel and willingness to adapt working hours to business needs.
  • Prior experience in Qatar or the GCC preferred.

    Required Documents

  • An original or a true copy of your Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) of your country of nationality, attested by the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • A true copy of your highest Educational Certificate, attested by the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Candidates born in Qatar are exempt from providing an attested PCC.
  • Candidates who graduated from a university in Qatar are exempt from getting their Educational Certificate attested.
  • Getting your personal documents attested is a lengthy process. We encourage you to get your documents attested early in the recruitment process to reduce administrative delays upon hire.
