What is expected from you? Job Duties

As an External Audit Senior Associate, you will report to Managers and above, working as part of a team to build trust, solve complex challenges, and manage multiple engagements.

Analyze client financial statements for regulatory adherence; examine financial records, documents, and tangible assets.

Ask a range of questions to client personnel; test internal controls and processes.

Communicate progress and issues to the Manager / Partner; manage engagement timelines, budgets, and risks.

Own external file completion, review engagement economics, and provide on-the-job training and feedback to junior staff.

Ensure compliance with risk, quality, and independence standards; support business development and client relationships.

Collaborate with diverse teams through audit planning to completion, and participate in digital initiatives and upskilling.

Perform other procedures as necessary to issue the assurance deliverables.

What will you bring?

A degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Completed or pursuing professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA (preferably).

Progressive experience at the Senior Associate level with external audit clients in a Big 4 firm.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in a team.

Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (a plus).

Business development and client relationship skills; willingness to challenge norms and foster teamwork.

Strong project management skills; knowledge of audit technologies and data analytics is a plus.

Commitment to valuing diversity and maintaining high technical standards in accounting and auditing.

Experience in engagement design based on risk and materiality; ability to coach and lead teams.
