Your Role As a

HSE Officer

you will :

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans and procedures specific to EPC project phases.

Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

Ensure compliance with international and local HSE regulations, standards, and client requirements.

Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions.

Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to multi‑disciplinary teams.

Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives to promote a safety‑first culture.

What We’re Looking For Experience

Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience in HSE in any industry, with at least 1 year experience in construction, fabrication, installation and / or commissioning projects / operations / production in the oil & gas or petro‑chemical industries.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma

License / Certifications

Must have a NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent certificate; Additional HSE Trainings and Certifications

Expertise

Ability to conduct HSE orientation / induction / HSE awareness sessions to workers

Ability to understand and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures / plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.

Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW / WMS / Risk Assessment etc.)

Awareness of practical H2S control measures.

Ability to conduct HSE inspections

Ability to understand and implement incident reporting and investigation procedures

Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.
