To provide exceptional customer service generate sales and create innovative interior design solutions for clients visiting our furniture showroom This role combines sales expertise with interior design skills to offer comprehensive assistance to customers Key Responsibilities Sales Actively engage with customers to understand their needs preferences and budget requirements Provide expert knowledge about furniture products materials styles and trends Present product offerings effectively highlighting key features and benefits Handle customer inquiries and objections professionally offering persuasive solutions Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently Maintain accurate sales records and reports Interior Design Create inspiring interior design concepts that align with customer preferences and space limitations Utilize design software to develop 2D and 3D floor plans elevations and renderings Select furniture lighting and accessories that complement the overall design scheme Advise clients on space planning color palettes and material selection Collaborate with other team members such as architects and contractors to ensure seamless project execution Customer Service Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and followup Provide timely and efficient customer service addressing any concerns or issues promptly Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment Administrative Tasks Prepare accurate quotes and invoices Manage customer orders and deliveries Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge Participate in team meetings and training sessions Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in furniture sales and interior design Strong understanding of design principles color theory and spatial planning Proficiency in design software e g AutoCAD SketchUp 3D Max Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Passion for interior design and a creative mindset Additional Considerations A relevant degree in interior design or a related field is preferred Experience in project management and coordination is advantageous A portfolio showcasing previous design work is essential By combining sales expertise with interior design skills this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our furniture showroom while providing exceptional service to our valued customers
