Job Purpose
To identify develop and secure new business opportunities in Qatar by building strategic relationships with clients partners and stakeholders. The Business Development Manager drives revenue growth supports market expansion and enhances the companys presence in line with corporate objectives and Qatars market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth and profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across target sectors (e.g. construction infrastructure oil & gas facility management technology or services depending on company focus).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants government entities and key decision-makers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activities and potential areas for business expansion.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals tenders and presentations in coordination with relevant departments.
- Negotiate terms contracts and agreements in line with company policies and profitability objectives.
- Collaborate with the management team to forecast sales track pipelines and ensure timely project follow-up.
- Represent the company at trade shows industry events and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and networking.
- Ensure compliance with local business regulations company policies and ethical standards in all dealings.
- Prepare regular reports on business performance client feedback and market developments.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience
Minimum 5 8 years of experience in business development or sales preferably in Qatar or the GCC region.
Industry Knowledge
Familiarity with local market trends tendering processes and client networks.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office Suite.Experience in preparing commercial proposals and contract negotiation.Excellent presentation and communication skills (English mandatory Arabic an advantage).Qatar-Specific Requirement : Valid Qatari Driving License and transferable residence permit (preferred).Core Competencies
