Subject Matter Expert – Education Digital Platforms

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in digital platforms, software, and applications for the education sector . While Student Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) remain a primary focus, the SME’s role extends to advising on the full spectrum of educational technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

The SME will play a pivotal role in defining the digital roadmap for a forward-looking, unconventional education institute , engaging with diverse stakeholders to capture requirements, design solution blueprints, and ensure alignment with institutional goals. The candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge of SIS / LMS platforms, enterprise integrations, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing education and digital learning experiences .

Importantly, this role is not technical development or system administration — the SME will focus on strategic planning, requirement definition, documentation, and advisory functions , working closely with implementation teams and vendors as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for SIS, LMS, and broader education sector digital platforms.
• Advise on system capabilities, digital transformation strategies, and best practices across the education technology landscape.
• Provide guidance on the application of AI within digital platforms to enhance academic processes, student engagement, and personalized learning.
• Stay ahead of global education technology trends and propose innovative solutions tailored to institutional needs.
