Lead Services Specialist - General Operations

Overview

Join our Industrial and Energy Technology Team! Our IET operates across 120 countries, serving the entire energy value chain and the industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team works to improve the quality of our Engineering processes. Responsibilities

Coordinating resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy. Leading and assisting in daily operations; developing, coordinating, leading, and executing daily production plans and coordinating consistent and effective shift-to-shift transitions. Developing and implementing process controls. Supporting operations leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources. Working with high-level stakeholders from the business and SPB and EB levels. Specifying needs, communicating about project approach and presenting outcomes of research. Handling standardized project processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Processes and procedures are frequently updated by other functions and have to be implemented in the department. Handling diverse clients in a region, working on predefined contracts and frameworks with some latitude to deviate from those conditions. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Operations Support. Knowledge of SAP and MS Office. Valid Qatar Driving License. Familiarity with Qatar customs rules and regulations. Experience in managing a team. Fluency in Arabic language. Experience and ability to communicate effectively with customers. Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
