Projects Manager - Specialized Contracting (Waterproofing) - Qatar

Overview

Our client, a leader in the specialized contracting sector, is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Projects Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex waterproofing projects. This senior role requires 8-10 years of progressive project management experience, preferably with specialized knowledge in waterproofing systems, materials, and installation techniques. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive execution plans, maintain rigorous quality and safety standards, manage project budgets and cash flow, and lead a multi-disciplinary site team to achieve client satisfaction and operational efficiency across all assigned projects. Proficiency in project management software (MS Project / Primavera) and strong commercial acumen are essential for managing project finances, claims, and ensuring high collection rates.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of complex waterproofing projects.

Develop comprehensive execution plans and maintain quality and safety standards.

Manage project budgets, cash flow, and commercial aspects including claims and collections.

Lead a multi-disciplinary site team to meet project objectives and client satisfaction.

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget project performance.

Qualifications

8-10 years of progressive project management experience, preferably in waterproofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.

Experience with MS Project and / or Primavera.

Civil Engineer or Construction Management professional with a proven track record of delivering specialized contracting projects on time and within budget.

Strong leadership, communication, and commercial acumen.

Location and Eligibility This position is exclusively open to candidates currently residing in Qatar or those willing to relocate. The role involves managing multiple sites and project logistics across the country.
